The General Standing Committees collectively comprise one of three Divisions of the RPPTL Section. The RPPTL General Standing Committees manage and administer the business of the Section.
Among their many important functions and duties, the General Standing Committees coordinate the Section’s legislative activities, draft amicus briefs, prepare Section publications, maintain the Section’s website, recruit and maintain a diverse membership, and keep Section members informed about ethics and professionalism issues. Some of these committees also analyze areas of the law affecting both real estate and probate and trust practitioners, such as alternative dispute resolution and homestead topics.
